The Gables is an independent Victorian guest house on a quiet lane in Ambleside, right beside St Mary’s Church.

We have been welcoming walkers, couples and slow travellers since 2006. Fourteen en-suite bedrooms, a full Cumbrian breakfast every morning, and Ambleside’s cafés, pubs and fells within a short stroll.
